“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Are you proud of who you are and how you are living your life?
Are you happy with the decisions you make and with the outcomes you produce?
If your answer is “No”, this exercise is for you
Take a pen and a piece of paper and draw 2 columns. In the right column write your aspirations and dreams. What would you do, who would you become, and what life would you live IF you had everything you need to achieve that?
In the left column, write your barriers and obstacles. What is holding you back from living your dream life? Be sincere with yourself and admit the problem you have.
Next step is to bring your weaknesses to God and ask Him to clean you from all the impurities.
Through prayer and meditation, ask your Father to give you strength, faith and courage to become the person you want to be and live the life you are dreaming about. Ask Him for His guidance.
Find the Verse in the Bible that answers your specific prayer and reflect on it daily. Remind your self that you are not alone, and the obstacles you are having now can and will be removed by God if you ask Him so. The website that you might find helpful is BibleGateWay.com.
As it is written in 2 Timothy 3:16-17: “Every scripture in the Bible is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”
You have the power in your arms, which is the Word of God. Remind yourself that You are physically and spiritually free and no circumstances have any power to control your life. Ask God today to equip you and help you live to your fullest potential!
There is absolutely NOTHING that you and God can’t do together.
The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid?
When evildoers assail me
to eat up my flesh,
my adversaries and foes,
it is they who stumble and fall.
Though an army encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear;
though war arise against me,
yet I will be confident.
Psalm 27: 1-3
“For what it’s worth: it’s never too late to be whoever you want to be.
I hope you live a life you’re proud of, and if you find you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start over again.”
F. Scott Fitzgerald
God bless you,
