1. Stop trying to do it all

When we think about everything we could, or maybe even should, do in a day it can feel overwhelming. The truth is we don’t have to do it all. Thinking we do increases our stress levels. In reality, we don’t have to do everything asked of us nor do we have to do it in the timeframe given.  Stop for a moment, take a few deep breaths and then reassess what needs done.  Write down a list of the tasks that are in your head (maybe up to 15) then put them in order of importance.  Most likely there will be a few really important things at the top and a good number of things nearer the bottom that, in reality, don’t need to be done today.  In fact what would happen if they weren’t done at all?  Any that don’t need done today cross off…
