There's a Spirit

The words, “I love you,” are some that we can often neglect to utter. As Christians, I often feel as if we fail to recognize the value of words. In fact, as a general population I believe that we often overlook the importance of telling people how we feel. While yes, verbal expression is one of the easiest forms of communication to harbor deception, it can also be some of the simplest and most beautiful in my experience.

We have a job as Christians. We are soldiers in Christ. And as soldiers in Christ, our battle must be fought differently than those of national armies. Our battles are fought in the name of God. They’re battles in which our most valuable weapon is the love that Christ has put in our hearts. And they’re battles that we are literally fighting every moment of every day.
